Delete your account
Last updated: October 18, 2026
You can delete your Snooze and Lose account yourself from inside the app, or ask us to do it by email. This page explains both paths and what happens to your data.
Delete from the app
- Open Snooze and Lose and go to the You tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. The app deletes the account on our servers, then removes your alarms and settings from the phone.
Open stakes must settle first. If a staked alarm is still scheduled or ringing, a wake-up check is still pending, or a lost stake is still being charged, the app asks you to unstake or finish those alarms and try again once they have settled.
What is removed
- Your email address, device link and sign-in tokens, so the account cannot be used or recovered.
- Your saved card: the $0 Paddle plan that holds it is cancelled and its references are removed from your account.
- Your alarms, saved barcodes, bedtime notes and in-app notifications.
What is retained
Records of lost stakes and their charity donations are kept for accounting and tax purposes, as the law requires. In our systems these records are no longer linked to an email address or device; Paddle keeps its own payment records as merchant of record.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email harryadelb@gmail.com from the address you verified in the app, with the subject “Delete my account”. We reply within 30 days. An account that was never linked to an email can only be deleted from the app itself, because nothing else identifies it.
